Our Personal Insurance Department includes Sr. Customer Service Rep., Candace McNeaney, CIC, CISR, Trisha Krafchuk, Christine Boulais, CISR, and Jeanne Boulais. They are available to meet with you to discuss the personal insurance needs of you and your family. Erin Hebert is our receptionist who assists our personal insurance team and Beth Gouin, CISR is our claims representative.

AUTO INSURANCE
Our companies sell personal auto insurance for Hanover, Commerce, and Safety Insurance Companies. While the basic rates in Massachusetts are still regulated by the state, we have additional group discounts available for AAA members, residents of Pine Valley Plantation, and employees of the Town of Belchertown.
We offer a variety of payment plans for auto insurance, including monthly billing plan via mail and a no fee-no interest EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer). Most of our new customers opt for this plan as it eliminates the need to write a check for insurance each month.

REGISTRY SERVICE HERE IN OUR OFFICE
Bell and Hudson Insurance Agency now has the authority to issue new license plates, transfer registrations to newly owned vehicles, renew registrations, and issue plate receipts here at our office in Belchertown. A nominal additional fee is charged for this instant, on-site service for new plates, transfers, and renewals. For registry transactions that are not eligible for this new service, we make weekly trips to the Registry.

Beth Gouin is our claims representative, and she handles all the claims that are reported to Bell and Hudson. 95% of clients responding to our claim surveys indicate levels of good, very good, or excellent claim service overall, and 98% note levels of good, very good or excellent service level with the Bell & Hudson staff.
We are working with our companies to develop claim reporting alternatives for our customers. Many of our customers still want to report their claims to us during regular business hours. But a growing number seek to have extended and weekend hours. Several of the companies we represent now have the availability of 24 hour – 7 day claim reporting directly to the insurance company! This new option streamlines the process and gets the claim settlement wheels in motion immediately. Below is a listing of companies that offer 24 hour – 7 day claim reporting directly to the company.
